Luis Enrique Gonzalez, 23, of Bettendorf, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Visitation for Luis will be held on Monday, October 5, 2009 from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main Street, Davenport. Luis was born on May 1, 1986 in Chihuahua, Mexico, a son of Filiberto Gonzalez and Maria Concepcion Hernandez. He moved to the United States seeking a better life, and found employment at the Olive Garden and Los Agaves. We would like to thank our family members and Luis Enriques friends for giving us this loving support. Thank you for having us present in your prayers and hearts as we go through a very difficult time. Thank you to his closest friends and co-workers for being there and a part of his life until the very end.We hope you remember him for his smile and welcoming and kind open hearted person he was.
