| | | Graveside services for Sari E. Cannon, 59, of Davenport, will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2009, at Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
Mrs. Cannon passed away Wednesday, October 7, at her home following an extended illness.
Sari E. Cady was born December 16, 1949 in Moline, IL, a daughter of Art and Rose (Everett) Cady. She was united in marriage to Jason Cannon on August 24, 1999 in Marion, IL. He survives her.
Sari received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education and had taught in the Louisville, KY school district prior to her illness.
She wrote beautiful poetry and was once published in Reader’s Digest.
In addition to her husband Jason, survivors include daughters, Tamara Randolph, Carolyn Rambo, JoLynne (Edward “Briss”) Gibson, all of Davenport; sons Ramone (Crystal) Mayo, Pittsburg, IL, Richard (Heather) Randolph, Peoria, IL, Cory (Samantha) Thomas, Houston, TX, Anthony (Lucy) Mayo, Marion, IL, Jason Cannon, II., and Armand Cannon, both of Davenport; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; sisters Susan (Rex) Larson, Martha (Mike) Hayes, all of East Moline, and Joanne (Garry) Seibel, Oklahoma; brothers James (Judy) Cady, Ft. Pierce, FL, and Peter (Brenda) Cady, St. Augustine, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her parents preceded her in death.
