Mrs. Butnuh died on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the Kahl Home, Davenport. Beverly Miller was born on May 25, 1930 in Davenport, the daughter of LeRoy “Lefty” & Helen (Hamer) Miller. She was united in marriage to Carl D. Butnuh in June 1949. He preceded her in death, February 9, 2008.
Beverly had been a dance instructor and enjoyed traveling, playing cards and bingo, but her greatest joy in life came from spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was employed as a Radiology Tech at the former Mercy Hospital and had also worked many years at Syndicate Hub, Davenport. She was an active volunteer working serving the community of mentally and physically handicapped, through the Elk’s Club. She had a great love for music, and her beautiful smile and giving spirit will be missed.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either the Kahl Home or to the family.
Survivors include her children, a son Mark (Sandy) Butnuh, South Pasadena, CA., a daughter Cathleen (Steve) Cooley, Davenport, grandsons Ryan Christiansen, John Cooley & Patrick Cooley, brother, Robert (Dorae) Miller, Davenport, along with nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl and a niece Karen Sue Miller. May they rest in peace.
