| | | William Lee Barrett, age 58, of Jonesboro, died Saturday at the Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City. Born at Hayti, Missouri he was a former Michigan resident and had lived in Jonesboro for the past 20 years. He was a retired tree trimmer, a member of the Childress Baptist Church, and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Vandiver Barrett of Jonesboro.
2 sons, Roy Barber of Black Oak and Keith Barber of Jonesboro
1 daughter, Tina Harrison of Jonesboro
His parents, Melvin and Bernice Lee Faulkner of Alamo, Tennessee
He also leaves 6 sisters, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 pm Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Nathan Primm officiating. Burial will follow in Macey Cemetery near Monette.
