| | | Mrs. Mary Lucille McCann, 89, of Manila, died Tuesday at her home. Born in Dyer County, Tennessee she was the daughter of the late Edward and Bestal Virginia Norris Parks and was a lifelong Manila area resident. She was the widow of Mr. B. A. McCann and was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Manila. In addition to her parents, husband, and 8 siblings, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Allene McCann, a grandson, Bennie Alton McCann, III, and 2 great-grandchildren, Avery and Bryant Johnson.
She is survived by:
2 sons;
Bennie McCann and his wife, Pat of Helena
Keith McCann and his wife, Gerri of Manila
1 daughter:
Karen Speck and her husband, Don of Helena
She also leaves 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
Mrs. McCann also leaves two very special friends, Brenda Matheny and Wilma Lindsey.
Funeral Service will be 1pm Friday at the First Baptist Church in Manila with Rev. William Piercy and Rev. Ferrel Duffel officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery in Blytheville. The family will receive visitors Thursday evening from 6-8 at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila. Pallbearers will be, Jeff McCann, Jeff McCann, II, Keith McCann, II, Jeremy Speck, Charles Johnson, and Kenneth Moss. Guest register @ www.HowardFuneralService.com
