| | | Effie Mae Talley,age 91, of Manila died Thursday at the Manila Nursing Center. Born at Dell,AR she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Rosie Brown Lott and had been a longtime Manila resident. She was the widow of Mr. Edwin Talley and had attended the First Assembly of God Church in Manila. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.
She is survived by:
1 son, William Atkinson and his wife Mary of Janesville, Wisconsin
4 Daughters:
Thelma Morris and her husband Orville of Manila
Alice Brown and her husband Keith of Wilkesboro, N.C.
Joann Rich and her husband Terry of Manila
Mavis Feldpausch and her husband Thomas of York, PA
She also leaves 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be 11AM Monday at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with Rev. James Chipman officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Sunday evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
