| | | Everett Harold Mitchell, age 74, of Leachville, died Friday at Monette Manor Nursing Center. Born at Manila, he was the son of the late James and Loretta Lewis Mitchell and had been a longtime Florida resident before returning to Leachville 15 years ago. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Charles Mitchell, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Ford Mitchell of Leachville

David Mitchell of Kennett, Missouri
Glenn Cupp of Labelle, Florida
4 daughters:
Brenda Mitchell
Lanette Mitchell, both of Holcomb, Missouri
Louise Sarrels of Manila
Jody Wald of Boulder City, Nevada
3 brothers, 2 sisters, 14 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Russel Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Monday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
