| | | Mrs. Alma Lee Williams, age 82, of Jonesboro, formerly of Manila, died Wednesday at her home. She was the widow of Mr. Thomas Edward "Ed" Williams and had lived in Jonesboro for the past 12 years. Born at Senath, she was the daughter of the late B.O. and Ollie Patterson Kelley and was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Williams was a faithful and longtime member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Manila. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and a sister.
She is survived by;
2 daughters;
Glinda Faye Huber and her husband Barry, and Sharron Hutton, all of Jonesboro
2 Sisters;
Marie Shaver of Elyria, Ohio and Willie "Bea" Jones of Dyess
She also leaves 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2pm Friday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Cass Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday from Noon until service time. The family has requested any memorials sent be made to the Arthritis Foundation, American Cancer Society, or the Manila Cemetery Association.
