Mr. Walter Elton Still, age 83, of Manila, died Wednesday at his home in Manila. Born at Caraway he was the son of the late William and Mary Jane Bennett Still and had been a lifelong Manila area resident. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, a lifetime member of the American Legion, a retired farmer and a longtime member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Manila. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 grandson, Christian Still, 1 brother and 4 sisters.

His wife, Mrs. Minnie Still of the home

2 Sons:
Dwight Still of Bryant, AR
Randy Still of Paragould, AR

1 brother, Clifford Still of Bradford
1 sister, Naomi Adams of Watervliet, MI

He also leaves 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be 2PM Friday at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with Reverend Eddie Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from noon until service time. Active pallbearers will be Matthew Still, Christopher Still, Jeremy Still, William Oglesby, Gearld Oglesby, and Rick Ingram.
