| | | Mrs. Rosie Macon Lutz, age 84 of Manila, died Sunday, September 20, 2009 at her home. Born at Manila she was the daughter of the late General and Annie Martin May and was a life long Manila resident. She was of the Pentecostal faith, was a homemaker and loving mother of 9 children. Mrs. Lutz was preceded in death by her husbands, James W. Macon and Marvin Lutz and two sons, James "Bub" Macon and David Macon, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by:
7 daughters:
Virginia Hart, Shirley Hice and Faye Shepperson all of Manila. Velma Lee Holt of Leachville, Geneva Jackson, LaVonda Newton and Juanita Reed all of Manila.
33 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lutz also leaves her special friend Jerry Underwood of Manila.
Funeral services will be 2PM Wednesday Sept. 23, 2009 at Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with Rev. Huey Meherg and Steven McGehee officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Tuesday evening from 6 until 8PM at the funeral home. Friends may sign the online guest register at www.howardfuneralservice.com.
