| | | Stynes Floyd Brown, age 84, of Caraway, died Saturday at the Manila Nursing Center. Born at Black Oak he was the son of the late Ed and Pearl Austin Brown and had lived most of his life in the Milligan Ridge Community. He was a retired cotton ginner, a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the Milligan Ridge Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Brown.
Survivors include a step-son, Jack Whitsitt of Plaquemine, Louisiana
4 sisters;
Wilda Kinsel of Flint, Michigan, Ruby Beasley of Manila, Sybil Grant of Missouri, and Thelma Payne of Gulfport, Mississippi.
Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday at the Manila Cemetery with Rev. Waymon Holt officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.
