| | | Mary Jane "Janie" McClain, age 89, the widow of Mr. Fred McClain, of Leachville, died Thursday at Monette Manor Nursing Facility. Born in Pulaski,TN. she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Florence Watson Herd and had been a lifelong Leachville resident. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Leachville First United Methodist Church and was active in the Ruth Bible Study Group as well as the Wesley Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 son, James Spencer, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Freddy McClain and his wife Elaine of of Leachville, AR
1 Daughter, Karen Johnson and her husband John of Memphis,TN
She also leaves several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1PM Saturday at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Leachville with the Rev. Douglas Criss officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Saturday from Noon until time of service. The family requests lasting memorials be made to the Leachville First United Methodist Church. Serving as active pallbearers will be James Keith, Brian Davis, Kevin Davis, Paul Kennett, Dusty Edgar and Paul Wildy.
