OXFORD, CT: Alice Boudreau, age 86 of Oxford, entered into peaceful rest December 11th at the Lutheran Home, Southbury; she was the beloved wife of fifty two years to the late Gerald M. Boudreau. Mrs. Boudreau was born March 21, 1921, daughter of the late Clarence and Carrie (Pratt) Roberts. Alice was retired from the former Dr. Schivy’s dental office, the kitchen in Oxford Public schools, and from the Southbury Training School. Mrs. Boudreau was a longtime active communicant of Christ Church, Quaker Farms and had served on the Altar Guild and was its former Directress, was a Clerk there, and a former Vestry Member. In her past, Alice volunteered in Oxford Public Schools, Past President of the Oxford PTA, a member of the Oxford Board of Education, the Quaker Farms Women’s Gab Club, the Oxford Homemakers club, the Garden Club, and the Senior Center. Alice will be fondly remembered for her love of her church and family, and her Oxford community; her home was always open. She generously gave to others and opened her home to many in need. She enjoyed hosting many picnics and events at Boudreau’s Grove at her home.

Alice leaves her loving family including a son, Gerald “Fred” Boudreau and his wife Ruth of Dingman’s Ferry, PA, a daughter, Marilyn Stebar and her husband Ron of Oxford, daughter, Carrie Godkin and her husband John of South Sutton, NH, a son, Ken Boudreau and his wife Sharon of Lahina, HI, her daughter, Alice Kroll and her husband Ken of Oxford, twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and six step-grandchildren.

A Service of Requiem Eucharist will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Christ Church, 470 Quaker Farms Road, Oxford. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial gifts may be sent to Christ Church, 470 Oxford Rd., Oxford, CT 06478, or to the Parkinson’s Disease Association, 27 Allendale Dr., North Haven, CT 06473.
