| | | SEYMOUR, CT: Ethel M. Churchill, age 83 of Waynesville, OH, formerly of Olsen Drive, she entered into rest April 12, 2002 at her home. She was the beloved wife of 19 years of the late Albert Churchill.
Mrs. Churchill was born September 30, 1918 in Northampton, MA, daughter of the late Edna Howard. Ethel was a Seymour resident for 11 years, before moving to Waynesville 3 1/2 years ago. She was a retired manager from the Bridgeport Motor Inn where she was employed for 25 years, retiring in 1984. Ethel’s passion was her genuine love of animals.
Ethel leaves her loving family including, 2 sons, David Martin and his wife Kim Lane of Millbrook, NY, and Doug Churchill of Hartford. 3 daughters, Darlene McNeil and her fiancé Larry Layman of Waynesville, OH, Glaida Thomas and her husband Richard of Ansonia, and Cindy Konecny of Huntington. 1 sister, June Carl and her husband Sid of Port Orange, FL. Also 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and her faithful companion, her cat Calico.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West church Street, Seymour. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
