SHELTON and WEST HAVEN- Seymour “Sy” M. Abrams, 86 of 172 Rocky Rest Rd. , formerly of West Haven, died Friday at Griffin Hospital in Derby. He was the husband of the late Lillian (Robbins) Abrams.
Seymour was born September 6, 1917 in New York, a son of the late Isadore and Rose Abramowitz. He was educated in New York; Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the State of Connecticut.
He leaves two sons; Rob Abrams of Ansonia, Lee Abrams of New Haven, a sister Sylvia Shapiro of Boston, Mass., and two grandsons Ryan and Jason Abrams both of Ansonia.
Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. The Ralph E. Hull funeral home, 161 West Church St. is in charge of arrangements. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hewitt Memorial, 45 Maltby St. Shelton, CT. 06484
