| | | SEYMOUR, CT and Nashville, TN: Jeannine “Guillette” Starnes, age 38 originally of Seymour, CT, and most recently of Nashville, TN, entered into peaceful rest January 11th at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford following a three year struggle against breast cancer. She was the beloved wife of Robert N. Starnes. Born August 20, 1966 in Norwalk, cherished daughter of Arthur, Sr., and Linda (Jandreau) Guillette.
Jeannine spent twelve years working as a Respiratory Therapist in Connecticut, New Jersey, as well as Memphis and Nashville, TN. She was a Communicant of the Church of the Good Shepherd; she enjoyed music and singing, and formerly sang with the Reflections Christian Choir.
On September 11, 2000 Jeannine realized one of the greatest sources of joy and pleasure in her life when she gave birth to her precious daughter, Lucia Charette Starnes. In addition to her husband, daughter, and parents, Jeannine leaves her loving family including, two brothers, Arthur Guillette, Jr. and his wife Michele of Seymour, and Johnny Guillette and his wife Tammy of Oxford, three sisters, Kari-Lynn Papale and her husband Dominick of Seymour, Kristine Oczkowski and her husband John of Seymour, and Debra Guillette of Seymour, ten nieces and nephews, her mother and father-in-law, Frances and Roy Starnes of Savannah, TN, and her sister-in-law, Teresa Starnes of Memphis, TN.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Road, Seymour. Interment will be in Mountain Meadows Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Lucia Starnes Education Fund, c/o 325 Main Street South, Southbury, CT 06488.
