| | | BEACON FALLS, CT: Evelyn J. “Babe” Chellis, age 79 of Stoddard Place entered into peaceful rest December 30th in Derby. She was born July 6, 1926 in Seymour, daughter of the late Earl and Mary (Winsco) Chellis. Evelyn was retired from the Better Packages Company, Shelton where she was an executive secretary for many years. Evelyn was a communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church, Seymour, where she was also a former Sunday School Teacher. She will be remembered as a loving aunt and caring niece. She was a UCONN Lady Huskies Fan, and she also enjoyed watching golf.
She leaves her loving family including her brother earl Chellis, Jr. of Beacon falls, two aunts, Sophie Czelusniak of Seymour, and Hazel Wiencko of Seymour, two nephews, William Chellis in WA, and Gary Chellis of Oxford, a grand nephew William Chellis of Seymour, and other nieces and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at. 10:30 a.m. in Trinity Episcopal Church for a service of Requiem Eucharist. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Trinity Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Ralph E.
