| | | OXFORD, CT: Florence Carlson, age 75 formerly of O’Neil Road, entered into peaceful rest January 26th at the Odyssey Harbor House Hospice, Las Vegas, NV. She was born September 10, 1930 in Bridgeport, daughter of the latePasquale and Evelyn (Massay) Cedrone. Florence was a long time Oxford resident before moving to Gloversville, NY, and most recently she resided in Las Vegas, NV for the past three years. She was retired from the Seymour Post Office, and was a member of Seymour Postal Union. Mrs. Carlson was also a professional Astrologist which she also taught and hosted numerous radio shows on the subject; she also enjoyed journalism.
Florence leaves her loving family including three sons, Mark Carlson and his wife Cindy of Seymour, Eric Carlson and his wife Donna of Las Vegas, NV, and Byron Ludwig of Seymour, three daughters, Vanessa Kaiser and her husband John of Palm Coast, FL, Patricia (Ludwig) Janos in TN, and Lori Gianpoalo of Gloversville, NY, also thirteen grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Her daughter Christine Luczak, brother Joseph Cedrone, and sister Loretta Ludwig all predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
