| | | SEYMOUR, CT: Barbara A. Cegelka, age 69 of Seymour entered into peaceful rest April 3rd; she was the beloved wife of the late Adam J. Cegelka. Mrs. Cegelka was born June 18, 1936 in Derby, daughter of the late Walter and Genevieve (Zembruski) Zabrocky. She resided in Seymour for most of her life and was a retired administrative assistant. Barbara was a communicant of the Church of the Good Shepherd, and had formerly taught in the Seymour School System; she held a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching from Southern Connecticut State University.
Mrs. Cegelka leaves her loving family including her son David Cegelka and his wife Wendy of Beacon Falls, three daughters, Donna Fitzpatrick of Seymour, Cynthia Kuchay and her husband Paul of Naugatuck, and Pamela Beverly of Torrington, a sister Loretta Nardini of West Haven, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour to the Church of the Good Shepherd where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
