OXFORD, CT: Joann Marie Casapulla age 51 of Oxford entered into peaceful rest May 13th at the Griffin Hospital, Derby; she was the devoted wife of Stephen Casapulla. Joann was born October 19, 1952 in Bridgeport, beloved daughter of Jane B. (Soja) Nading of Oxford, and the late Lloyd E. Nading. She resided in Oxford for the past twenty years, and was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Mrs. Casapulla was a teaching paraprofessional at the Simon Lake Pre-School, Milford. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially working in the garden. Joann loved swimming and spending time at the beach and was fond of her pets. When her children were younger she spent countless hours volunteering at Oxford Schools. Joann’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and mother Joann leaves her loving family of two sons, Stephen Lloyd and Robert Adam, and daughter Michelle Rose Casapulla all of Oxford, a sister Patricia Braca and her husband John Jr. of Easton, her father and mother-in-law Stephen and Nancy Casapulla of Orange, several nieces, nephews, brothers and sister-in-laws, and her devoted friend Susan.
