| | | BEACON FALLS, CT: Phillip B. “Scotty” Baxter, Sr., age 69 of Beacon Falls, entered into peaceful rest December 31st at his home. Mr. Baxter was born October 22, 1937 in Glasgow, Scotland, son of the late James P. and Ann (Burns) Baxter. Phillip was a retired Union Sheet Metal Technician with the Sheet Metal Workers Union, Local 40; he enjoyed golf, fishing and soccer.
Phillip leaves his loving family including two sons, Phillip B. Baxter, Jr. of Prospect, and Thomas D. Baxter of Torrington, foru daughters, Barbara Jean Will of Alexandria, VA, Susan Faber of Oxford, Lynne Ortega, and Lisa Norton both of Naugatuck, his former wife, Jean (Rollinson) Baxter of Torrington, a brother, Richard Baxter of Bristol, eleven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
