SHELTON, CT: Peryl Avon, age 95 of Shelton, formerly of Shelton Road in the Nichols section of Trumbull where she lived for most of her life, entered into peaceful rest January 30th at her home with her devoted family by her side; she was the beloved wife of the late Edward Avon. Mrs. Avon was born May 17, 1911 in Fairfield, daughter of the late Ormond J., and Rose (Satmary) See. Peryl was a communicant of the Huntington Congregational Church, Shelton, and formerly of the Black Rock Congregational Church, Fairfield. She was a member of the New Haven Bird Club, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Fairfield Chorus, and The Huguenot Society.

Peryl leaves her loving family including her Daughter, Linda MacDonald, and her husband Edwin of Shelton, and two grandsons, Shaun O’Donnell of Shelton, and Kevin Buonagurio and his wife Christine of Attleboro, MA. Her son Brian Avon predeceased her.

A graveside funeral will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport. There are no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Ralph E.
