| | | OXFORD, CT: Alfred W. Anderson, Sr., age 102 of Oxford, entered into peaceful rest March 7th in Milford; he was the beloved husband of the late Rosella (Paltrineri) Anderson. Mr. Anderson was born July 14, 1904 in Wellesley, MA, son of the late August and Mabel (Bishop) Anderson. He resided in Wellesley for most of his life; he was retired from Keystone Custodian Funds where he was an Administrator and Department Manager. Following his retirement he and his wife resided in Sun City, AZ for many years having resided in Oxford for the past seventeen years.
Alfred leaves his loving son, Wes Anderson and his wife Pamela of Oxford, three grandchildren, Holmes, Blake, and Kyle Anderson, and also three great grandchildren. His brother Arthur, a sister, Lillian Goldsberry, and his half-brother, Buddy Govoni predeceased him.
All services and interment will be private. There are no calling hours. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour has been entrusted with the arrangements.
