| | | SEYMOUR, CT: Avis Louise Blakemore, age 77 of Spruce Street, entered into peaceful rest April 2, 2003 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby. She was the beloved wife of the late Malcolm Blakemore. Mrs. Blakemore was born January 9, 1926 in Seymour, daughter of the late Walter and Louise (Maile) Dorman. Avis was a communicant of the Seymour Congregational church, and was a graduate of the Seymour High School Class of 1943. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.
Avis leaves her loving family including her daughter Lauren Blakemore of Seymour, and her nieces, Sharon Snow in Oregon, and Linda Dorman of Silver Spring, MD, also her nephew Robert Dorman in Ca.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be in Trinity Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
