| | | OXFORD, CT: Madeline Belinsky, age 83 of Oxford entered into peaceful rest April 15th at her home; she was the beloved wife of the late Paul Belinsky. Madeline was born May 27, 1923 in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Arthur and Reta (Palmer) Brooks. Mrs. Belinsky was a lifelong Oxford resident, and a retired Telephone Operator from the Southern New England Telephone Company, Derby. Madeline was a communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church, Seymour, where she formerly served on the Vestry, and various committees; she was a former coordinator for the Bereavement Luncheon Committee; she enjoyed helping people.
Madeline leaves her loving family including two sons, Donald Belinsky and his wife Iris of Derry, NH, and Robert Belinsky and his wife Joan with whom she made her home, a brother, Austin Brooks in Missouri, and three grandchildren, James Belinsky, Cynthia Vasko, and Edward Belinsky.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour to Trinity Episcopal Church, 91 Church Street for a service of requiem Eucharist at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Great Hill Cemetery.
