SOUTHINGTON, CT: Louise (Matyczyk) Bechum, age 87 of Southington, a longtime resident of Seymour, CT; she entered into peaceful rest April 14th in Southington; she was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Bechum. Louise was born August 18, 1919 in New Britain, daughter of the late John and Anastacia Matyczyk. Louise was retired from the Farrel Corporation, Ansonia, and was a communicant of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, New Britain, and a former longtime communicant of Three Saints Orthodox Church, Ansonia; she enjoyed volunteering in numerous church and community activities.

Louise leaves her loving family including her daughter, Nancy B. Stringer and her husband Gregory of Madison, WI, a grandson, Andrew Bechum Stringer of Arlington, VA, two sisters, Sonia Matyczyk of New Britain, and Lillian Maddaluno of Windsor, and a brother, George Matyczyk of Southington. Her sister Vera Funk, and brother Walter Matyczyk predeceased her.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 305 Washington Street, New Britain. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call also on Tuesday, at the church, prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ralph E.
