James H. Park, 87 passed away September 11, 2009 at Greene Acres Nursing Home. He was formerly of Grand Blanc, Michigan. James was born February 4, 1922 to the late James Piner and Beulah Jane (Morgan) Park in Marmaduke, Arkansas. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Willodean Park, two brothers: John Smith Park and Charles Garland Park and four sisters: Elizabeth Phipps, Mildred Moore, Corene Flatt and Eunice Park. James is survived by three sons and their wives: J. Douglas and Anne Park of Lansing, Michigan, Dan and Susette Park of Grand Blanc, Michigan, R. Lynn and Beverly Park of Dahlonega, Georgia, one daughter and her husband: Debra and Bob Cleary of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ten grandchildren: Christina and Scott, Meaghan, Monica and Joe, James Paul, Joshua and Casey, Justin, Rebecca, Ellen and Brian, Robbie , Alison, five great-grandchildren: Mia, Marley, Marina, Landon and Whitman,and one sister: Inez Eakins of Lafe. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 10:00 at the Irby Funeral Home in Marmaduke with Pastor Raymond Atwood and Brother David Poe officiating. Interment will be at the Harvey Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday night from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the chapel also.
