MAMIE GEAN MORRIS Mamie Morris, aged 83, formerly of Rector, went to be with her heavenly Father on October 9, 2009 at the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. She was born November 21, 1925 at England, Arkansas to the late John and Verdie (Durham) Brown. She was preceded in death by: a son, Larry Brandon: a brother, Luel Brown and a sister, Elizabeth Bentley. Mrs. Morris is survived by: two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie Jean and Charles Wilson of Ballwin, Missouri and Brenda Kay and Jack Hirtz of Mount Juliet, Tennessee: five grandchildren, Shannon and Eric Hrnicek, Pamela and Arthur Billington, Scott Brandon, Amy and Chad Evers and Bradley Hirtz: five great-grandchildren, Brandon Billington, abbey Billington, Brandon Hirtz, Makenna Evers and Shelby Brandon. A host of other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Graveside funeral services were held Monday, October 12, 2009 in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri with Bro Kim Bridges officiating. Irby Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. | ||
