| DOYNE REED WARD
Doyne Reed Ward was born April 21, 1927, at Bee Branch, Arkansas to the late Sam and Vannie Ward. He was a WW II Navy Veteran having served on the U.S. S. Columbia. He was member of the Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a Dacon. He loved to deer hunt, coon hunt, crappie fish and watch his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play ball. He had one major fault, he was a Chicago Cubs fan. He was married to the former Omeda Pruett for 61 years. He leaves to mourn his passing; family members, Omeda Ward, Roby and Linda Ward of Rector, Marty and Kim, Cody and Tyler Ward of North Littler Rock; grandchildren, Tamira and Tim and Brendan Irby of O'Fallon, Missouri, Shannon and Tim, Dane and Macey Branumof Paragould, Nathan, Bertha, and Aiden Seay of Kasnas City, Missouri, Jolene and Kevin Young of Arlington, Tennessee, Treda and Kaleb White of Brookland, Arkansas; sister, Doris Looney of Arlington, Texas; a brother, Johnny Ward of Hardy. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dean Cook, and Peggy McGinthy. Pallbearers will be: Nathan Seay, Dane Barnum, Cody Ward, Tyler Ward, Kaleb White, and Kevin Long. Funeral service will be Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel with Brothers Don Morris and Owen Little officiating.
