| | | Kenneth Earl Hendricks, 87, of Waterloo, died Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Allen Hospital of natural causes.
He was born December 3, 1921 in Fairfield, son of Earl and Gertrude Haynes Hendricks. He married Ruth McGreer December 26, 1941 in Memphis, Missouri.
Mr. Hendricks was employed as an auto parts manager and insurance salesman, before retiring. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp, serving in WW II.
Survivors include his wife of Waterloo; two sons, Ronald Dean (Diane) Hendricks of Monticello and Gerald Russell (Laurene) Hendricks of Des Moines; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald Keith Hendricks; and one sister, Donna Marie Kelly.
Services will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. Public visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the family or the charity of the donor’s choice.
