| | | Duane A. Shelton, 49, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Allen Memorial Hospital of natural causes. He was born August 12, 1959 in Waterloo the son of Louie and Audrey Wagmer Shelton.
He attended La Porte City Schools.
Survived by: four brothers, Merlyn (Janelle) of Richland, MO, Garith (Sharon) of Exeter, MO, Dwight (Peggy) of Marshalltown, Delbert (Debbie Bakke) of Waterloo; three sisters, Deloris Trusley of Brumley, MO, Gail (Bob) Noltensmeier of Waterloo and Janet (Bobbie Sexton) Shelton of Waterloo; four nieces, Renee and Korene Shelton, Annette Noltensmeier, Jill Dean; one nephew, Nathaniel Shelton; one grand niece Zoe Kimball; one grand nephew, Seth Kimball and special friends, Jessica and Chris Meyer.
Preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball with a graveside committal service at 1:30 p.m. in the West View Cemetery in La Porte City. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Memorials: may be directed to the family.
Duane really adored his nieces and nephew and specially his great niece and nephew.
