| | | Leonard J. Umscheid, age 69, of Omaha, NE and formerly of Waterloo and Grundy Center, died Saturday, July 25, 2009 en route to Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center of complications of MRSA infection.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30 at First Baptist Church in Grundy Center. Burial with full military honors will be in Lincoln Township Cemetery, rural Grundy Center. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the church. The Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel in Waterloo is in charge of the arrangements.
