| | | David O. Nolting, 56, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).
He was born July 25, 1953, son of Orville A. and LaVonne Wilhelms Nolting in Waterloo. He married Terri Klunder Burman June 18, 2005 in Cedar Falls.
Mr. Nolting was employed as an electrician at MidAmerican Energy for 26 years.
Survivors include his wife, Terri of Cedar Falls; two sisters, Judy Nolting and Debbie Fagerlind, both of Waterloo; and a niece, Kim Coop and her children, Austin and McKenna.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday at Trinity American Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorials may be directed to MDA-ALS Division, Cedar Valley Hospice, Trinity American Lutheran Church Elevator Fund, or Visiting Nursing Association.
