| | | Eric T. "Ty" Green, 47, of Maynard, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home of cancer.
He was born January 21, 1962 in Waterloo, son of David and Tamra "Tammy" Bukatz Green. He married Roberta in Nashua and they were later divorced.
Eric had been employed by John Deere & Company for the past twelve years. He had tremendous talents in building, mechanics, and electronics, which became hobbies.
Survivors include his father, David Green of Tucson, Arizona; his mother, Tammy Schlitter of Cedar Falls; one son, Brandon Green of Red Wing, Minnesota; two daughters, Stephanie Wooden of Waterloo, and Kayla Green of Red Wing, Minnesota; one brother, Kent Michael (Erika) Green of Maynard; one sister, Colette (Clay) Doss of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; three grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and good friends, Duane and Terry Wooden.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ralph and Cecelia Green; maternal grandparents, Harvey and Lora Bukatz; and his stepfather, Edward Schlitter.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Airline Highway, with cremation to follow. Inurnment will be at a later date. Public visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. Sunday at Garden View Chapel and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Family was the love of Eric's life.
