| | | Charles Ranson, age 44, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, August 18, 2009 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
He was born September 27, 1964 in Waterloo, Iowa the son of Floyd Charles Ranson, Sr. and Carol L. Schroeder. Charles worked at Premier Castings in New Hampton, Iowa.
Survivors include his special friend, Karen Bean of Waterloo; his mother, Carol Carmody of Evansdale, Iowa; his step father and step mother, Jay (Linda) Bickel Sr. of Waterloo; four brothers, Clay (Anita) Bowles, Scott (Jane) Bowles, Dave (Jewel) Bowles and Jay (Angela) Bickel, Jr., all of Waterloo.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Linden United Methodist Church in Waterloo with cremation to follow the services. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. The Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
