| | | Evelyn Marjorie “Marge” Dray, 84, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center of natural causes. She was born November 10, 1924 in Estherville the daughter of Clarence and Alvina Gleason Thompson. She married Fredrick B. Dray on January 17, 1942 in Unionville, MO, he preceded her in death in 1983.
She worked at Rath Packing Company and also as a nurse’s aide for Woodlawn Convalescent Home.
Survived by: two sons, Randea M. (Janice) Dray of Grenada, MS, Jan D. (Rachel) Dray of Cedar Falls; one daughter, Cindy (Jerry) Keiderling of Buckingham; eight grandchildren, Matt (Jennifer) Dray of Coldwater, MS, Stephanie Dray of Starkville, MS, Andrea (Brandt) Fehl of Cedar Rapids, Tricia Keiderling of La Porte City, Jessica Keiderling of Waterloo, Tina (Jason) Higgins of Waterloo, Timothy Dray of Indianapolis, IN and Adam Dray of Readlyn; six great-grandchildren, Chad, Brooke, Haley, Lauren, Jaedon and Carter and three brothers, Merlyn (Alice) , Carol (Marlene), Ronnie (Pat) Thompson all of Waterloo.
Preceded in death by: her parents; her husband and one son Dennis Dray.
Services: will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2009 at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-6 p.m. and one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Memorials: may be directed to Sartori Memorial Hospital, 3rd Floor.
