| | | Theodore A. “Ted” Wood, 73, of Waterloo, died Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of kidney failure. He was born March 15, 1936 in Racine, WI the son of Angus and Evelyn Post Wood. He married Beverly Schultz on August 14, 1961 in Racine, WI.
Ted was a manager for Wilber Auto Salvage for 46 ½ years.
Survived by: his wife, Beverly of Waterloo; one son, James (Lisa) Wood of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Holly Kraft, Rachel Wood, Andrew Jensen; one great granddaughter, Destiny Fairly; two sisters, Harriet Langdon, Judy Spang both of Racine, WI and a very special cousin, Jerry Zinke of Racine, WI.
Preceded in death by: his parents; one daughter, Deanna Jensen and a son, Glenn Wood.
Services: will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. and also one hour before the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.
