| | | Dianna M. Corson, 64, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born February 27, 1945 in Quasqueton, daughter of Alex and Viola Lemons Rassmussen. She married Donald Corson July 25, 1964 in Waterloo. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1992.
Mrs. Corson was employed at Harmony House for thirty-one years.
Survivors include one son, Donald Corson of Waterloo; one daughter, Tina Evans of LaPorte City; four brothers, Jimmy (Dorothy) Lemons of Waterloo, Gary (Lori) Nolan of
Waterloo, Bucky Nolan of Grundy Center, and Sonny Dean (Mary) Nolan of Waterloo; one sister, Loretta (Dick) Richtsmeier of Newton; five grandchildren, Nathan, Ashley, and Brandon Newell, and Aaron and Austin Corson; and three great grandchildren, Ellissa, Karlei, and Julianne Barrow.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Poyner Township Cemetery. Public visitation will be noon to 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
