Alice E. LeMoine, age 95, of Waterloo, died Friday, October 16, 2009 at Lakeview Landing in Waterloo.

She was born August 29, 1914 in Ringsted, Iowa, the daughter of J.J. and Ida (Mathieson) Fink. She attended Iowa State Teacher’s College in Cedar Falls and Gates Business College in Waterloo. Alice was united in marriage with James W. Pratt on August 23, 1935 in Ringsted, Iowa. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1973. She married Ralph A. LeMoine on August 2, 1975 in Waterloo, Iowa. He preceded her in death on February 14, 1999.

Mrs. LeMoine worked as a secretary for the Waterloo Community Schools. She was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church and the Waterloo Elklets Lodge #1. She loved to play cards and was an excellent Bridge player. Alice also enjoyed the sewing circle at Westiminister Church. She was generous with her time and could be seen frequently visiting the Med Center and the Landing at Friendship Village.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary A. (David) Schilling of Moline, IL; a son, James M. (Donna) Pratt of Avon, CO; a stepdaughter, Sherry J. (Jack) Dotson of Claremont, CA and a stepson, Blaine J. (Mary) LeMoine of Cape Coral, FL; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands and a brother, Julius Fink.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Westminister Presbyterian Church Chapel. Inurnment will be in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Church. The Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel in Waterloo is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to Westminister Presbyterian Church, Friendship Village, or Hospice Compassus of Cedar Falls, Iowa.
