Eleanor N. Snovel passed away October 20, 2009 in Sacramento, CA at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Chester G. Snovel. She is survived by her children, James L. (Gloria) Snovel and Donald G. (Jeannie) Snovel; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Preceded in death by six brothers and one sister. Eleanor was a California resident since 1953. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2009 in the West View Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall, both in La Porte City.
