| | | Kristi Ann Struve, 41, of Mount Auburn, died Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Allen Memorial Hospital following a recent illness. She was born August 17, 1968 in Waterloo the daughter of Dennis and Linda Lyons Kruckenberg. She married Roger Struve, Jr. on May 28, 1994 in La Porte City.
She graduated from Hawkeye Community College, receiving her BSN. She was a Certified Dental Assistant and owned and operated Eyecare Nursing Services in La Porte City for the last two years. She was a former EMT for Mt. Auburn First Responders, member of the Chamber of Commerce, La Porte City Golf Course Board and Past President of the Dental Assistant Association.
Survived by: her husband, Roger of Mount Auburn; her parents; Dennis and Linda Kruckenberg of Waverly; one son, Trevor Struve at home; two daughters, Kaylee Struve of Washburn and Alexus Struve at home; one brother, Todd (Justin) Kruckenberg of West Des Moines and her maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Betty Lyons of La Porte City.
Preceded in death by: her paternal grandparents, Jim and Leona Kruckenberg.
Memorial Services: will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2009 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in La Porte City. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at La Porte City Funeral Service. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
