| | | Audrey M. Henze, age 91, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Friendship Village Pavilion in Waterloo.
She was born February 3, 1918 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of Clem and Lydia (Hager) Fordyce. Audrey was united in marriage with Henry O. Henze on August 13, 1911 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1988.
Audrey worked in food service for the Waterloo Community Schools for many years.
Survivors include three daughters, Shirley McDowell of Mountain Home, AR., Nancy (Jim) Olsen of Cedar Falls and Carol (Bruce) Walters of Waterloo; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Huisman of Shell Rock, IA and Edna Lehman of Columbia Heights, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry; a daughter, Cindy Pecenka and three brothers, Arthur, Frank and Lawrence Fordyce.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Garden View Chapel with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the services on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
