Annie Draine Bell, 63, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at home natural causes. She was born March 24, 1946 in Euorpa, Mississippi, daughter of Delma and Rosetta Taylor Draine. She married Frank Lee “Frankie” Bell August 31, 1969. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2001. Mrs. Bell graduated from Europa High School and attended Hawkeye Community College for two years. Annie worked at the John Deere Foundry for seven years. She also worked as a certified nurse’s aid and as a home health aid. Survivors include four sons, Franklin M. (Sherel) Bell, Lee M. Bell, Tyrone Bell, and Tyrun Bell all of Waterloo; one daughter, Letha (Tony) Bell-Duff of San Antonio, TX; her mother of Europa, Mississippi; three brothers, Delmar Draine of Detroit, Michigan, Joe Willie Draine of Europa, Mississippi, and George Draine of Waterloo; three sisters, Shirley (Moses) Wise of Waterloo, Carrie (Fred) Levy of Waterloo, and Carolyn Brown of Europa, Mississippi; thirty grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Franklin Bell, Jr. A wake will be held 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Corinthian Baptist Church.
