Craig Carpenter, 49, of Waterloo, died Monday evening, February 22. 2010, at the Cedar Valley Hospice home of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He was born February 22, 1961 in Waterloo, the son of William Robert and Clara L. Hagedorn Carpenter. He married Wonda Clos on June 11, 2009 in Evansdale. Craig worked as a laborer at First Co Inc in Waterloo. He is survived by his wife, Wonda Clos of Waterloo; two step sons, Jacob Clos of Elk Run Heights and Jerred Clos of Waterloo; three brothers, William E. (Julie) Carpenter, Duane G. Carpenter and Michael W. Carpenter of Shell Lake, WI; and one sister, Diane J. Carpenter Phillips of Vinton. He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert. Friends may call at Garden View Chapel from 3- 8 P.M. Thursday, Feb 25. Following visitation his body will be cremated. Those who wish may direct memorials to the family. 319 232-2222
