| | | Gladys Iola Wheeler, 98, of the Western Home in Cedar Falls, formerly of Dunkerton, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Elizabeth Martin Health Care Center in Cedar Falls of natural causes. She was born September 10, 1912 in rural Dunkerton the daughter of Henry A. and Cora Trumbauer. She married Harry Wheeler on February 16, 1956 in Preston, MN, he preceded her in death on December 11, 1974.
She was a homemaker, member of the United Methodist Church in Dunkerton and an avid gardener.
Survived by: one brother, Clyde (Joyce) Trumbauer of Elkhart, IN and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: her husband, Harry and two brothers Charles and Paul Trumbauer.
Services: will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball with burial in the Fairview Cemetery in Dunkerton. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Memorials: may be directed to the family.
