| | | Tammy Lynn Heim, age 37 of Waterloo, died Monday, August 1, 2011 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
She was born May 1, 1974 in Anniston, Alabama the daughter of Percy and Pauline (Barber) Merrill. She was united in marriage with Francis Donald Heim, Jr. on September 19, 2009 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Tammy was a very caring person with a sense of humor and a heart of gold. She had many talents and all who knew her loved her and will miss her dearly.
Survivors include her husband, Francis “Frank” Heim of Waterloo; three sons, Branden, Jesse and Reece; two daughters, Lindsey and Abby; a brother, Lewis (Brenda) Hill of Waterloo; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Paul Hill.
Memorial Services will 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Seventh-day Adventist Church, where visitation begins at 3:00 p.m. The Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel in Waterloo is assisting the family.
