| | | Susan M. Russell, 63, of Waterloo, died Thursday, September 15, 2011 at her niece’s home in Waterloo of cancer.
She was born November 7, 1947 in Caldwell, Kansas, daughter of Glenn and Betty Miller Bagg. She married Robert Berger in Waterloo and they were later divorced. She then married Winston Russell in Waterloo and they were later divorced.
Mrs. Russell was employed as a custodian by the Waterloo Community Schools for 29 years, retiring in 2010.
She is survived by three sons, James “Jimmy” (Marcy Pelton) Berger of Cedar Falls, Jonathon Webster of Waterloo, and Jason Russell of Cedar Rapids; one brother, James “Jim” (Judy) Bagg of Waterloo; one sister, Debra “Debbie” Berger of Waterloo; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents; and a great grandson.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Cedar Falls, with inurnment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. The body will not be present, as she was cremated. Garden View Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
