Negaunee
Idabelle M. Noble, formerly of 98 Croix St., Negaunee, died at 9:10 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at the Eastwood Nursing Center where she had resided since December, 2008.
Idabelle was born May 2, 1917 in Ishpeming, MI to Alex and Jennie (Bosworth) Thibodeau, attended Ishpeming Schools and was a lifelong area resident. She was employed by the Negaunee Elks for many years, and also at numerous other jobs throughout her employment career.
Mrs. Noble was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Negaunee. She was an avid cribbage player and reader. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling. Most of all, Idabelle loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Donna (Duane) Stille of Little Lake, 5 grandchildren: Bruce Stille, Larry Stille, David (Leslie) Stille, Sandy (Rick) Kleckner, and Nancy (Mike) White, 7 great grandchildren: Cory (Robin) Stille, Amy (Adam) Johnson, Chris and Paige White, Ashlee and Joshua Stille, Jordan Kleckner (Kristie and Mariah Blakley), 5 great-great grandchildren, her sister, Lorraine Schultz of Ishpeming, several nieces and nephews. Idabelle was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wilho Hanninen, grandson, Stephen Stille, brother, Alex Thibodeau, and 3 sisters: Viola Trewnick, Dorothy Thibodeau and Margie Thibodeau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 3 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Negaunee with Monsignor Peter Oberto officiating. Interment will be in Northland Chapel Gardens. The family will greet relatives and friends from 12 noon until the time of services at 1 PM at the church on Tuesday.
