Juanita Katherine Kemper was born September 27, 1923 to Bernard and Clara Kemper in Lismore, Minnesota. She received her education in Lismore Schools. Juanita then helped on her brothers farm near Lismore. On January 8, 1941, she was united in marriage to Duane Tusler at Lismore, Minnesota. After their marriage they lived in various communities while her husband was in the service. They then made there home in Worthington where Juanita was employed at Campbell Soup Company. They later moved to the Luverne area and in 1979 moved to Ceylon, Minnesota. Duane died on November 18, 1980. Juanita greatly enjoyed gardening, camping and all sports especially watching the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings. She also enjoyed watching wrestling and Hee-Haw.

Juanita died on Tuesday afternoon, October 9, 2007 at the Trimont Health Care Center in Trimont, Minnesota at the age of eighty-four years.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Gott and her husband, Tom, of Trimont, Minnesota, Judy Shropshire and her husband, Brad, of Oxnard, California, Mary Jo Jones and her husband, Donnie, of Cushing, Oklahoma, Victoria Morgan and her husband, Glynn of Fort Collins, Colorado, Teresa Carpenter and her husband, Darrell, of Cushing, Oklahoma; sons, William Tusler and his wife, Irene, of Cushing, Oklahoma, Ryan Tusler of Stroud, Oklahoma; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Honus Christensen of Hopkins, Minnesota and Evelyn Kemper of Lismore, Minnesota; brothers, Orville Kemper and his wife, Mary Ann, of Hopkins, Minnesota and Marv Kemper and his wife, Tater, of Boone, Iowa; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Duane Tusler; son, Larry Tusler and infant son, Steven Tusler; brothers and sisters and other relatives.
