Anna Sophie Margarete Bressler was born November 26, 1910 the daughter of John and Martha (Janssen) Bressler in a Elm Creek Township, Martin County, Minnesota. She was baptized on January 3, 1911 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kimball Township and later confirmed on March 28, 1926 at Salem Lutheran Church in Jackson. Anna attended country school in Martin and Jackson County. On February 14, 1934, she was united in marriage to Chester Schulz at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kimball Township, Jackson County, Minnesota. After their marriage, they farmed in Enterprise Township. In their later years, Anna and Chester enjoyed going to Arizona during the winter months. Chester passed away on April 10, 2002. Anna has been a resident of Doman-Rose of Lakefield for nearly three years and the last four months at the Colonial Manor in Lakefield. Anna was a long time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the LWML, and was a Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed her garden, flowers, sewing, crocheting, knitting and other crafts.

Anna died on Saturday morning, December 13, 2008, at Colonial Manor in Lakefield, Minnesota, at the age of ninety-eight years.
Survivors include her daughter, Harlene Rose and her husband, Martin, of Jackson, Minnesota; son, Dennis Schulz and his wife, Karla, of rural Jackson, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; Mark (Kerri) Rose, Denise (Doug) Wetzler, Lorene (Mike) Gray, Kevin (Lisa) Rose, James (Tina) Schulz, Galen McCarthy, Daniel Schulz; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Lawrence Bressler of Windom, Minnesota; brother-in-law, Chester Harries of Windom, Minnesota; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Chester Schulz; sister, Sophia Harries; two brothers, Ernest and John Bressler and other relatives.

Interment will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Kimball Township, rural Alpha, Minnesota.
